MIcrowave Food Safety Tip

Tip Number Two: Microwave Food to Avoid Bacteria onlywire When you pop your food in a microwave, simply cooking it for a minute or two isn’t good enough. When you cook food in a microwave, the temperature should reach a temperature of 165˚F or higher, regardless of what it is. If you the food is not cooked enough to reach this temperature, harmful bacteria could still be in it. By cooking it above165˚F, you will eliminate all of the bad bacteria. So, go ahead, break out with the thermometer and check your food before you eat it.
